Deposits for new and existing service.

1. Security Deposits may be required in the following cases:
   Applicant misrepresents their identity or credit standing.
2. Customer or applicant requests service at a residence which he or she does not reside.
3. The utility has had two or more checks for the customer's account returned from a bank within the past year for insufficient funds or no account.
4. Customer or applicant requests service at a household that was inhabited by the customer or applicant during a period in which all or a part of a prior past due service account was incurred by another household member who still resides at the household.
